Summer project

We are creating unique zero-waste festival wear and everyday pieces from recycled textiles. In our mobile atelier (Nova), we go from festival to festival with our sustainable clothing and give visitors the chance to finish their own item on the spot.

This research explores how to make an artistic statement about the wasteful nature of traditional pattern making and the zero-waste alternative. Through a combination of installation, fashion, and performance, the work highlights pre-consumer waste and transforms it into garments that can be constructed, deconstructed, and used as powerful conversation pieces.
